JUCO center attracts Big East attention

The Pitt offensive line is heavily laden with seniors. After this season, Pitt will graduate center Chris Vangas (6' 2" 310) and offensive tackles Mike McGlynn (6' 5" 315) and Jeff Otah (6' 6" 340). Pitt will return players at most of the other positions but the offensive line may need some help, so the Pitt coaching staff has been searching the junior college ranks for a player or two that might help them.

As reported earlier by the Pantherlair, Pitt has offered a scholarship to center Robb Houser (6' 3" 285) from Butte CC in Northern California.

He recently received an offer from Syracuse and plans to visit. He also plans to visit Pitt and he's already visited Baylor.
