One official down, three to go for Saddler

Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway athlete/wide receiver Cameron Saddler (5-foot-6, 170 pounds, 4.4 seconds) returned from Virginia last week and gave high praise following his official visit experience.

With one official visit under his belt, the explosive playmaker is prepared for the final stretch run in his recruitment, which includes three consecutive official visits ending with a press conference to announce his decision.

"It is going to be crazy," said Saddler. "I am looking forward to it. I want to get this wrapped up and have some fun along the way."

This weekend, Saddler heads to Ann Arbor for an official visit to Michigan.

"I am starting each official visit off with a clean slate. I want each visit to stand on its own and then in the end I will revisit my thoughts on each as I prepare to make my college decision."

Will his UVa visit leave a strong enough impression to remain a factor after the following three visits?

"My experience at Virginia was a great one. I have stayed in touch with my host, Kevin Ogletree, and I am always talking to Dave Borbely and Al Groh. None of those are going to let me forget it," said Saddler with a laugh.

While Saddler is looking to have a good time on each of his official visits, he is looking for much more than that.
