TU recruits playing lights out
The University of Tulsa's football commitments for the class of 2008 are having impressive senior seasons, especially a pair of three-star recruits: Greenwood (AR) quarterback Tyler Wilson and San Antonio (TX) Reagan running back Marcus Wright. They are prime examples of why the future looks bright for the Golden Hurricane.
Wright, at 5-foot-6 and 163 pounds, is making his place as one of the best running backs to ever carry the ball in the city of San Antonio. With his 227-yard and three touchdown performance on Friday night in a 36-22 win over Judson, he broke the city's single-season rushing record, climbing to 2,294 for the year.
