Movement among top schools for Pantale
Wayne (N.J.) Wayne Valley High School outside linebacker/tight end Chris Pantale (6-foot-5, 225 pounds, 4.7 seconds) has been steadfast about his top three schools since the start of his season.
The three-star prospect has consistently listed Boston College, Michigan and Virginia as his favorite schools since August.
CavsCorner caught up with Pantale Wednesday night and learned that there has been movement at the top of his list.
"My top three is still Boston College, Michigan and Virginia but there has been some changes at the top," said Pantale.
When we last caught up with the Wayne Valley standout, Boston College was the clear leader for his services followed closely by Michigan, with UVa trailing both.
"Boston College and Virginia are my top two schools. Michigan is still up there but they are behind the other two."
Is there a clear favorite between the Cavaliers and the Eagles?
"No. It is so close, I couldn't tell you which is on top. It is very close."
Official visits will help shape Pantale's college decision. When will the two-way standout start looking at possible visit dates?
"I am not going to do anything until my senior season is complete. We won our first-round playoff game last week. This week, we have Paramus. It should be a good game."
So far on the season, Pantale has racked up 75 tackles and 15.5 sacks as a linebacker. As a tight end, he has hauled in 19 receptions for 430 yards and nine touchdowns.
