Sellers has solid season

It was a successful and productive season for McCook (Neb.) junior defensive end and tight end Tyrone Sellers, but it ended in a familiarly frustrating fashion. The Bison came out on the short end of a 14-7 overtime loss to Crete in the Class B state championship, which marked the third time out of the past four years that they suffered a close loss in the finals.

Sellers had two receptions for 80 yards in the game, including a 34-yard touchdown catch for McCook's only points. He also had a solid game defensively for the 12-1 Bison, which mirrored the rest of his season.
