Trahan coming back to Auburn?

Former Auburn linebacker Patrick Trahan could hardly watch college football this year. Not big-time college football. Not in person. Not on television.

“My mind starts to wonder what I could’ve been doing this year,” said Trahan. “It’s tough.”

The former Auburn linebacker was academically ineligible for the 2007 season on the Plains. Instead of sitting out, he opted to enroll at Northwest Community College in Senatobia, Miss.

In 10 games this season at Northwest, Trahan racked 96 tackles, second-best in the conference, 14 tackles-for-loss, six sacks, four forced fumbles and one interception. Northwest finished 6-4.
