Wiley, the No. 19 overall Junior College prospect in the class of 2008, visited Louisville this weekend from Pearl River C.C. in Mississippi. The four-star prospect, who had offers from Alabama, Ole Miss, Marshall, and Southern Miss, said he will join the Louisville program in January.

"I had fun. I had a good time meeting all the people there," he told They're real friendly and the campus was real nice."

Hosted by current Cardinal Trent Guy, Wiley is likely to be the first of many defensive players to join this recruiting class. "I committed today," he said Sunday from the airport. "It was nice. They showed the facilities. I talkd to the head coach and I told him this is really where I want to be.

"He liked it. That's what he wanted to hear," the player added.

Why Louisville? "I fit in. That's the best fit for me," Wiley answered. "My personality, the things I like to do. The things I like to be around. I'm just going to come in and try to do my part - whatever they ask."

Wiley will take a planned visit to Marshall next weekend, but he said that won't change his decision. "I'm decided on it," he said. "I'm going to take another visit but it isn't going to change. That isn't going to make a difference."
