Four-star RB visits Iowa City

Four-star prospect Mark Ingram is on his way home to Michigan this afternoon after making an official visit to the University of Iowa this weekend.

The 5-foot-10, 195-pound running back, who rushed for 1,700 yards and 24 touchdowns this season, was hosted by freshman quarterback Marvin McNutt on the trip. The Michigan native also spent a lot time with the Iowa coaching staff, who told him about the opportunity they have at running back next year.

The trip to Iowa was the third official visit of the year for Ingram after earlier trips to Wisconsin and Michigan State. The running back, whose father played at Michigan State, is also hearing from Alabama and Illinois, among others. Right now, the four-star prospect hopes to make a decision by mid January.
