Carter puts Iowa State at top of list

Now with his senior season complete, the 6-foot-2, 210-pound Carter is starting to take those visits he was unable to earlier in the process and his first official visit went to Iowa State.
"I just came back from there," Carter said Sunday night. "I liked the atmosphere of it and I loved the facilities there and the coaches. Knowing what type of people I am going to be around, that's what I was looking for and I know I am going to be around some good people."
Carter also lists scholarship offers from schools like Houston and Missouri, but he said at this stage it is primarily a battle between Iowa State and Tulsa for his signature. Following his trip to Ames this weekend, the Cyclones have grabbed the lead.
"Right now Iowa State is on top," said Carter. "Sometime in January I plan to go visit Tulsa and possibly Missouri. The coaches and people I am going to be around for four years, I'm going to look at that when I got to Tulsa. Facility-wise, they're going to have to match the facilities."
