Adrian Bushell has a busy January planned
It was early December the last time that the Red Raiders saw DeSoto (TX) athlete Adiran Bushell. The four-star prospect was relaxing in his coaches office when Texas Tech cornerback's coach Brian Mitchell walked in the room.
"It looked like he was surprised to see me," said Bushell. "He hadn't talked to me in a while."
But the lack of communication from the Red Raiders coaching staff was not because of a decrease in interest.
"He had some old numbers that I used to have but he didn't have my new number."
The two swapped new numbers during their visit and tried to rekindle their relationship. Mitchell also wanted to find out if Bushell still had any interest in the Red Raiders.
"I told him that there was still some interest in (Texas) Tech I just hadn't talked to him in a while. We talked about me coming down an official and I told him I could come down after the Michigan visit."
The Wolverines will receive one of two already scheduled visits from the 5-foot-11, 180-pound recruit.
"I know in January I have Florida on the 11th, Michigan on the 18th, and I'm not sure when the Tech one is. It's in January but we didn't really set an actual date. But we just planned it as being in January at some time."
Michigan, Florida, and Texas Tech are mentioned among of a top five that also includes Nebraska and Bushell's known favorite, Oklahoma State.
