ATH Douglas will visit Iowa State

Lawton (Okla.) athlete Cornelius Douglas will be on a fact finding mission when he visits Iowa State officially later this month. The 5-foot-9, 180-pounder admits he doesn't know as much as he needs to know about the Cyclones. Douglas' final decision appears to be coming down to three schools, including ISU.

"I don't know much about Iowa State but I've been talking to the coaches for a long time," Douglas said. "It's coming down to Iowa State, New Mexico and Tulsa for me. I am just looking at the bond the coaches have with their players and getting a good feel for its like to actually be a part of one of these programs. That is what visits are for."

Douglas, most likely a cornerback at the next level, has already been on his visit to in-state suitor Tulsa. He's scheduled to go to Iowa State January 18-20 and to New Mexico January 25-27. He's already had an in-home visit from the Tulsa coaching staff and is expecting one from ISU for sure as well.
