Hawkeyes visit Ingram

Four-star prospect Mark Ingram is ready for a busy couple of weeks as he receives in-home visits from each of his four finalists before making his college decision. On Monday, it was Iowa's turn as five assistant coaches made their way to Michigan to visit with the 5-foot-10, 195-pound running back.

Ingram, who is deciding between Iowa, Michigan State, Alabama, and Wisconsin, already received his in-home visit last month from Kirk Ferentz, who as a head coach only gets one with each recruit. During the visit on Monday, the four-star prospect had a chance to catch up with the coaches. Ingram, who made his official visit to Iowa City back on December 7, said the Hawkeyes made a favorable impression during the in-home.

As a senior, Ingram rushed for 1,700 yards and 24 touchdowns, which helped draw recruiting interest from around the country. Now that he has list narrowed down to four schools, the running back wants to talk with each coaching staff at least one more time in person.

Ingram plans to attend a basketball game at Michigan State on Tuesday and hopes to talk with the football coaches to schedule their upcoming visit. He expects that Mark Dantonio will visit either late this week or early next. Nick Saban from Alabama will be by his house on Wednesday and Brett Bielema from Wisconsin will stop by on Sunday.

When Ingram arrives at his decision, he plans to announce it at a press conference at his high school, Flint Southwestern Academy.
