Smith wants Perry to join him in East Lansing

The future Spartan scored 20 points to lead the way for Southeastern in a 81-62 loss. Smith was a physical presence on the court and wasn't shy about mixing it up around the rim. That physicality and athleticism will serve Smith well at Michigan State.

"There is a bond that we have," said Smith of his relationship with the players from the PSL that will join him at Michigan State. "But there will also be a bond with the entire incoming class. But the guys from Detroit are guys I grew up with and grew up playing together with."
