Georgia hosts Tennessee QB

Georgia already has one quarterback committed in 2009, but they are still looking for another. One that is getting interest from the Dawgs is Chris Campbell and he visited Athens this weekend for Junior Day and he liked what he saw.

"Everything went good at the visit and it was an awesome experience," said Campbell. "It was my first time down at Georgia and I liked it a lot."

The 6-foot-4, 195-pound quarterback out of Memphis (Tenn.) - Briarcrest Christian liked it so much that he will return later this summer.

"I got to talk with the quarterback coach Mike Bobo and he said he wants to see me in person, so I am going to go down to his camp in a few months."

Georgia is one of many schools showing interest in the Tennessee QB early in 2008.

"I am hearing from Ole Miss, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Arkansas, Louisville, and North Carolina too," he said. "Some schools are just starting to show interest, but others have been showing it for a while."
