Allen gets first offer

Maplewood Richmond Heights ATH Bryant Allen was at Missouri a few weeks ago and had a good time. He thought that, for now, that might be the biggest part of recruiting until this summer, but last week, he got a bit of a surprise.

Allen said that he has been a big fan of the Tigers for some time and the offer only increased that excitement. He said that it was just an exciting program to be recruited by, especially with him having watched for a long time.

Outside of the offer, Allen joked that nothing had happened in recruiting. However, he did say that he was enjoying the process to this point and had started to get letters from several schools, including an invite to another junior day.

Right now, Allen said he was trying to focus on his basketball season. He said it was going great and he hoped that it would keep going into to March. He said that he's stayed busy with basketball in recruiting as well, and the Tigers have started talking to him in basketball as well.

Allen said he loved getting the offer from Missouri, but he wasn't ready to name a favorite just yet. He said that he hoped to let things settle out a little before making any decisions about recruiting. He admitted though that he did enjoy attention from both sports.
