Family ties work for St Joseph CB
St. Joseph Central CB Ghaali Muhammed has been around the Missouri program for several years already. The first cousin of Martin Ruckersaid having cousins that had been through recruiting helped him get off to a good start.
Muhammed joked that the only people he would have to talk to in recruiting would be his cousins, but added that the start of recruiting had been good as he was starting to get letters and phone calls from schools.
Muhammed said he was amazed things had started picking up in recruiting so quickly, but he was hopeful that he could continue impressing schools. He had a few schools who had noticed him early , and said that he hoped to see one of them again this weekend.
Muhammed admitted that the attention had been nice, but he also said that it had always been exciting to him that Missouri was one of the top schools talking to him. He said that he had spent a good amount of time around the program, and he probably didn't have much else to learn about the Tigers. He added that if they were to offer, it may be over in his eyes.
For now, however, Muhammed said he was just going to focus on getting stronger after a good junior season. He said that he was hoping to keep impressing schools from his defensive position.
