Sleeper quarterback makes the rounds

Quarterback Mark Giubilato (6' 3" 230) from St Joseph's in Philadelphia has played a backup role to senior quarterbacks this past two years and is now ready to take his turn guiding the Hawks.

Giubilato had been listed in the Rivals database at 210 pounds which was taken from a camp in New Jersey when he was a sophomore. "I am now up to 232 pounds and I run the 40 in 4.6 seconds."

Last fall St Joseph's was 10-3 on the year. They lost to nationally-ranked Don Bosco Prep and perennial power North Penn during the regular season. The Hawks were beaten in the Philadelphia Catholic League championship game by Roman Catholic 10-7 a team they had beaten 36-7 earlier in the season.
