Snooks calls everyone off as a Mountaineer

MORGANTOWN--Ohio State called on Friday. He had thought about lining up a trip to Maryland. In the end, "I'm more worried about just this right now," said new Mountaineer football commitment Chris Snook.

Where he was "right now" was the University City where earlier on Saturday the 6-foot-3, 223-pound fullback from Medina (Ohio) Highland committed to head football coach Bill Stewart, the third such pledge for the class of 2009.

"I went to one combine already, it wasn't much. I'm not going to anymore. I'm just interested in being a Mountaineer," said Snook, who was among several 2009 prospects taking in the Gold-Blue game on the final Junior Day of the spring.
