Bodtmann makes long trip to check out NU

With over 100 recruits on hand, the prospect that had one of the longest distances to travel to get to Lincoln's sold out spring game was West Scranton (Pa.) High School outside linebacker Shawn Bodtmann.

Bodtmann, who's first scholarship offer came from the Huskers, has recently added to that list with new ones from Army and Syracuse. Several other schools such as Maryland and Pittsburgh are showing interest. However, this past weekend, his eyes were on Nebraska, with his mother, in Lincoln for the annual Red-White spring game.

A packed house of more than 80,000 fans in Memorial Stadium and the coaching staff caught his eye.
