Beilein making progress with top 100 prospect

Michigan head coach John Beilein continues to work the recruiting trail as diligently as he has in his career, and his efforts seem to be paying off. There was plenty of positive feedback following a visit to one top 100 player's school yesterday.

It's no secret that Beilein has made Los Angeles Winward point guard Darius Morris a priority, having tripped to California to pop in at the Winward gym whenever NCAA rules have permitted. He was there again yesterday, Darius' father, Dwayne Morris, reported, and his frequent visits have made an impact.

"We saw Coach Beilien at our gym yesterday - that was exciting," said Mr. Morris. "Coach Beilein and I are trying to negotiate a date in May to get at least Darius there … one of us is going to trying to get on campus and make things happen.
