SoCal sleeper about to wake colleges up
One thing you can count on year in and year out when discussing Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw is there will be at least one D-I prospect and this year is no different as there could be up to three. One of them is cornerback/safety/wide receiver Marcus Andrews (6-2, 185, 4.5).
Andrews is somewhat of a sleeper, but that is likely to change once colleges make their usual pilgrimage during spring evaluation. Andrews plays long and is very quick. He great size for a corner and possesses tremendous.
"Marcus will play cornerback for us," Crenshaw coach Robert Garrett said. "We're going to match him up with the taller wide receiver.
"Marcus is very good in man coverage, is very aggressive and is a force in run support," Garrett said. "He has good leaping ability and is very athletic. He definitely D-I.
