Ward talks Northwestern

Northwestern hasn't landed a four-star Rivals prospect since Loren Howard in 2002, but there were two four-star offensive linemen watching Northwestern spring game on Saturday from the stands at Ryan Field.

One was Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard West guard Chris Watt, and the other was tackle Patrick Ward from New Lenox (Ill.) Providence Catholic, No. 180 on the Rivals250 list.

A prototypical collegiate tackle at 6-foot-6 and 295 pounds, Ward has already drawn 16 scholarship offers and made trips to see several schools this spring. But he keeps coming back to Northwestern, a school he's visited four times since February.
