Signee Profile: Jemison coming in ready

Jemison was one of the top overall athletes in the state in the 2008 class playing quarterback on offense and defensive back on defense. At Auburn, he's expected to get his first shot at safety, where the Tigers could use more depth. AuburnSports.com spoke with Jemison about making an early impact, his recruitment, playing with his brother, walk-on Anthony Jemison, his reasons for choosing Auburn and more in the third of our profile stories of the 2008 Tiger signees.

On his workout regime: "They sent me a workout program and I have been doing it a while. I've been doing my school workout though, too, which is even harder. I also run two times a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays."

You're at 195 now, how much do you want to weigh when you report to Auburn? "I think I'm good where I am, 195. I feel comfortable going in at that weight."

When do you plan to move to Auburn? "I think it's June 8. I'm looking forward to it. I can't wait. I'll be living in the dorms, but I'm not sure who I'll be rooming with, yet."

Do you talk to any of your fellow signees? "I talk to Freddie Smooth every now and then. I'll text him. I haven't talked to him in a while, but we try to keep it touch with a text or something. I met him down in Auburn on my visit. He's pretty cool. I also talk to some of the players already down there like Antonio Coleman and Sen'Derrick Marks.
