Lloyd becoming popular among colleges

The players at Houston Stratford are used to the presence of college coaches at their spring practices. With class of 2008 Rivals100 quarterback Andrew Luck having been under center the past three years, it was a popular place for recruiters to visit.

With Luck having signed with Stanford in February, the coaches are still flocking to the campus this spring. This time it's to watch defensive end Terrance Lloyd.

"Missouri, (Texas) A&M, Houston, Connecticut and Kentucky," the 6-foot-4, 230 pound defender said about which schools had offered so far. "Iowa State said that my offer was in the mail so I should get that soon."
