New offers cause Guyton to re-think plans

Houston Lamar running back Kalvin Guyton has split carries in the Redskins' backfield the past two seasons. However, he will be the feature back in 2008. The newfound role has come with new college scholarship offers as well.

Previously holding offers from Houston, Nebraska and Minnesota, the 5-foot-10, 190 pound back has seen his total grow lately. It has actually more than doubled in the past week.

"Baylor, Kentucky and Iowa State offered me last week and then Texas A&M offered me this morning," Guyton said on Tuesday. "I think Missouri is close to offering as well, but I don't know.

"You know, they're all good schools. Those are all schools that are gonna be in my mind as I make my decision."
