Dallas Carter RB holds six offers
Recently, Dallas (Texas) Carter running back Anthony Miller competed at the Oklahoma University three-day camp. He hoped to impress the Sooners and add to his offer list that has been growing steadily throughout the spring.
"Tulsa, Louisiana Tech, UTEP, Colorado State, Michigan State and Oklahoma State have offered," Miller said. "They came in during the spring."
Miller has an interest in all of the schools that have offered him and has been hearing from two other major programs: Arkansas and Kansas.
"They came up to the school a few times too," he said. "Actually I'm going to visit Kansas in a few weeks."
As a back, Miller has great size but he has speed as well. He proved that he has got some speed to go with his 220-pound frame by running a 10.9 100 meters this spring in track. He is confident that he can offer the full package.
"I can do a little bit of everything," said the 6-foot-0 prospect. "I'm powerful but I'm quick and fast. I can do a little bit of everything."
His big frame has always been attracted to big tradition as well.
"I used to be a big fan of Miami, Florida State and Texas," he said. "Those are my top schools. I like the tradition. Tradition is important. Also if it's close to home or not. I don't mind going away from home but if it's close to him it's a good bonus.""
Following the Oklahoma camp, Miller has more plans for the summer.
"I'm going to the Texas camp the week before I go to the Kansas camp," he said. "Other than that I'm going to be working out. I'll probably be working on my feetwork."
