Guyton ends his recruitment

Texas A&M didn't get any commitments after its first one-day mini-camp Saturday which was used as an evaluation tool for the most part by the Aggie coaching staff, but Monday the Aggies got a new pledge in the class of 2009 anyway. It didn't matter that Houston Lamar running back Kalvin Guyton wasn't in College Station Saturday for the camp.

That's because Guyton didn't need to see A&M again to know that he wanted to be an Aggie. Monday, Guyton called the Aggies coaching staff to let them know that he was pledging his commitment to A&M, becoming the 10th commit in the Aggies' class of 2009.

The 5-foot-10, 190-pound Guyton committed to Texas A&M over scholarship offers from Minnesota, Nebraska, Baylor, Iowa State, Utah, Kentucky and Houston.
