Juniors to Watch: Horton, Krause, & Atwater
The talent in Georgia will be rich again in the class of 2010. The Peach State is known for producing top recruits and it doesn't appear to be slowing down any time soon. At Darlington last week, three skilled athletes stood out.
Julian Horton, Steven Atwater, and Jonathan Krause are three prospects out of Georgia to watch and they will all be DI recruits in the future.
Both Horton and Atwater play at Greater Atlanta Christian, while Krause plays out of South Gwinnett.
Horton is a 6-foot-1, 188-pound athlete that could play wide receiver or defensive back on the next level. He is a very productive wideout at GAC, but can play a very physical corner position also.
Atwater is a true corner that can flip his hips and make plays on the ball. He is a 5-foot-10, 175-pound athlete that plays bigger than his size leads on. The son of former NFL safety Steve Atwater is strong, intelligent, and a true gamer.
Krause is a very fluid receiver that has great hands, good acceleration, and he is a very good route runner. The Comet is a think 160-pounds and he stands close to 6-feet tall. He will be one of the top receivers in Georgia in his class.
These were three of the top prospects at the Darlington 7-on-7 Tournament last week and you can see some of their highlights in this exclusive video reel.
