Macarthy still on Iowa's radar
After accounting for over 2,300 total yards and 23 touchdowns last year as a junior, quarterback Dolapo Macarthy remains on the recruiting radar for several college programs this summer, including the Iowa Hawkeyes. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound Macarthy, who led Merrillville to the Indiana Class 5A state semifinals last season, currently has five scholarship offers to his name - Iowa, Indiana, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, and Eastern Michigan.
Iowa was the second team to offer Macarthy back in the spring with Bowling Green being the first. Shortly after receiving the offer, the three-star quarterback made the drive to Iowa City for a junior day visit with the Hawkeyes.
Macarthy has also visited Indiana in the past and has a trip to Central Michigan coming up this month. Currently, those two along with Iowa make up his top three schools, but the 16-year old is staying patient this summer as he waits to see if more offers will come his way.
