Two-sport athlete keeping options open
Lyle Brackenridge is still getting up to speed. No, the shifty 6-foot, 175-pound cornerback prospect from Kapolei High School in Hawaii, doesn't need too much work on his forty time - that's fine. The young man who also goes by the name of Kalani is just learning about the college programs recruiting him - including Oregon State - while focusing on his pursuits on the gridiron and the diamond.
"Right now, I'm just working out and playing baseball too," Brackenridge said. "I'm just working on my speed and strength, working out with a trainer on my own and doing drills with him. We had our spring game already and it went well."
