Croom upbeat after day two
What a difference one day can make.
After being beat by the sweltering summer sun on Sunday the Mississippi State Bulldogs returned to the practice field Monday afternoon with a score to settle against Mother Nature.
The Bulldogs acclimated to the temperature and turned out one of their best practices in the Sylvester Croom era.
"The score is even now, heat one, Bulldogs one," Croom said. "We'll see what happens tomorrow and see if we can get a tie breaker. We went from one extreme yesterday to one of the better practices we've had since we've been here from top to bottom."
MSU began practice at 5 p.m. due to summer exams and worked for around two and a half hours in mandatory helmets and shorts.
