Beavs keep eye on four-star point guard

Now that the summer evaluation period has come to a close, the Oregon State basketball coaching staff will get together and see who they will bring on campus for an official visit once school starts. One young floor leader that could get an invitation is Darius Smith. The shifty 6-foot-1, 170-pound point guard from Marshall High School in Chicago had a big AAU season with the Illinois Warriors, and caught the eyes of the Beavers coaches in addition to a whole host of others.
