Will Whitaker pull the trigger early?
One of the premier interior defensive linemen in the class of 2010 began his junior season last week. We were on the scene and we caught up with Jeffrey Whitaker moments after the Warner Robins-Peach County game was complete.
Whitaker already is a sought after junior defensive tackle. He pulled in offers from the University of Georgia and Clemson University before his sophomore year ended.
The 6-foot-3, 295 pound tackle is hearing from many other programs like FSU, Notre Dame, and most of the ACC and SEC schools.
He talked with UGASports recently about recruiting and you can see this exclusive interview here.
If you were not able to view the interview at this time, then here are some select quotes from the Warner Robins native.
"This is my year right here. I am happy
I am excited about this year."
"For me, I feel like I have to keep doing it every week (when asked about receiving an early offer from UGA). It feels good, but at the same time, I have to keep doing it every week. I cannot slack off."
