Corner about as busy as a Maytag repair man

The word must of gotten out about four-star cornerback Brandon Sermons (6-1, 183, 4.42) from Pomona (Calif.) Diamond Ranch cover ability because Pasadena (Calif.) Muir only threw one pass his way on Friday Night and that was an incomplete.

The talented corner had about as much to do as the Maytag repair man, but still he accounted for five tackles and had one fumble recovery in a losing cause 16-6.

"My night went pretty good, but the loss kind put a damper on it," Sermons said. "We had too many penalties and when we would turn the ball over, they did a good job capitalizing."

The phone has been busy at the Sermons household since September 1st, Sermons has received calls from the likes of Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Colorado, Utah and Fresno State.

UCLA was in the audience on Friday Night.
