Four-star setting up visits

Going into the season it was quite apparent that four-star running back Daniel Jenkins (5-10, 180, 4.5) from Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde was one of the best all-purpose running backs in the Golden State, if not the best. In two games thus far, he is living up to that reputation.

In his first game, Jenkins rushed for 190 yards on 19 carries and scored three touchdowns in a victory over Los Angeles (Calif.) Fremont. In his second game, Jenkins was a marked man as Yucaipa, Calif., game planned to stop the talented running. Even though they had eight in the box, Jenkins still found a way to score touchdowns and be a difference maker in victory.

On the recruiting trail, Arizona, Washington State, New Mexico and Nevada have offered. Washington and Syracuse could be close to offering. UCLA is also looking long and hard at Jenkins.

Jenkins has set up three official visits and may have fourth one this coming weekend. If possible, Jenkins may visit Syracuse this coming weekend on an official. If not, he may end up going to the UCLA/Arizona game. He will visit Nevada on October 17th and on October 24th he will visit to Arizona. In early November, Jenkins plans to visit Washington State.
