Jake Dean makes most of opportunity

It has been a long time coming, but when sophomore offensive lineman Jake Dean finally received his chance, he performed very well in a very tough circumstance against BYU. He must of showed up nicely on film because he ran with the ones during Tuesday's practice.

BruinBlitz.com was able to get a few moments with Dean after practice.

BruinBlitz.com: First congratulations on a very good performance against BYU in your first bit of action. How did it feel for you to be out there?

Dean: "It felt really good. It's been awhile since I have been out there playing and felt good being out there."

BruinBlitz.com: Did it come back to you pretty quick?

Dean: "It came back better than I thought. Coach Bob Palcic makes practices so hard that being out there was like everything was in slow motion. That's how hard Coach Palcic works us."
