Mountaineer coaches talk up crowd support

MORGANTOWN--Two West Virginia coaches appealed to Mountaineer fans Wednesday to root for the Mountaineers and Mountaineer recruiting prospects who are due in for the 3:30 p.m. Saturday kickoff with Marshall.

The Mountaineers (1-2) are on a two-game losing streak for the first time since 2004, while Marshall (3-1) has won a pair in a row over Conference USA adversaries.

West Virginia is expected to host some 21 senior and junior high-school prospects at Milan Puskar Stadium, and running back-slot receivers coach Chris Beatty said that any help the majority of the expected 60,000 packed house can bring is appreciated.
