Official visit solidified Fontaine's commitment
It was the third visit to Athens for Arthur Fontaine and he loves the University of Georgia more and more each time. He traveled down with his mother and grandfather over the weekend for his official visit and there is not one doubt in his mind that UGA is the school for him.
"I got there Saturday morning and our flight was a little late, so I went straight to the game," said Fontaine. "After the game, I got to go to the locker room, talk with the coaches, and then I went out to dinner with my host Tripp Chandler , my mom, my grandfather, Coach Bobo, and Coach Lilly and his wife."
"After that, I went back to Tripp's house and we just hung out there with a bunch of the other players. It was cool and I had a good time. Sunday, I got up and had breakfast with Coach Lilly and Coach Jancek before going to church. After church, I ate lunch with Coach Bobo, Coach Searels, Coach Lilly, and Tripp."
"Then I went with Coach Lilly to watch some film of the Tennessee game and he showed me where I would be playing, what I would be doing, and things like that. I also met with Coach Richt for a while and talked about how he needs tight ends right now due to all the injuries and things like that. It was just a good conversation and he knows I am solid in my commitment."
The time with Coach Lilly really stood out to Fontaine during his visit to UGA. He has always known Lilly as a recruiter and more like a friend. He got to see a different side of him this time and that side is one he will see a lot in the future.
