Martin focused on the present

Since receiving a scholarship offer in August from Oregon State, there's been no question that the Beavers have been on the mind of Sean Martin. But the speedy 6-foot-1, 180-pound cornerback from Corona (Calif.) Santiago High School is not ready to make any decisions on his college future. It's not necessarily anything in particular that has him holding off on making any commitments; it's just that he feels he owes it to himself and his teammates to concentrate on the tasks at hand.

"Right now I'm not focused on recruiting, but am focused on the season," Martin said. "But Oregon State has talked to me every week and they send me mail pretty much every day. I've talked to Coach (Mike) Riley and we've talked about scheduling a visit for after the season."
