Leslie impressed by visit to A&M

Tomball junior wide receiver Jordan Leslie has risen from relative obscurity to one of the top prospects in the state of Texas for the class of 2010. Despite his team's 1-5 record, the big 6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect has shined on the field.

This past weekend, he had his first chance to take in a college game as a recruit. Leslie made the short drive to College Station to watch Texas A&M take on Texas Tech. He says that, despite the Aggies coming out on the short end of the score, he enjoyed his experience.

"I got an email from the coaches earlier in the week inviting me to the game," Leslie said. "I was thinking about it and then I called them on Friday and they said they had tickets waiting for me. I'm glad I went. Even though A&M lost, it was a good game and you could tell there was a lot of young talent on the field."
