Compton 2010 RB has something special
It appears that the Golden State of California is going to be loaded with Blue Chip running back talent for the class of 2010. One of the very best is homerun hitting James McConico (6-0, 195, 4.5) from Compton, Calif.
McConico is one of the main reasons that Compton is 6-0 in the very tough Moore League and there will be no doubt that Compton high school will be hotbed for D-I college coaches next spring.
"James has touchdown runs of 92, 90, 84, 75, 69, 54 and 39 yards," Compton coach Calvin Bryant said. "He's a threat to score every time he touches the ball."
According to Bryant, McConico has rushed for 836 yards and has scored 15 touchdowns on only 26 carries this season. That's right, 26 carries, so that makes McConico's average per rush at 32.2 yards per carry. That is one great big wow.
