Beavs look to make impression on Moser
Before, the Beavers barely got the time of day from Mike Moser. Blame it on the coaching change and the timing, but the long 6-foot-8, 200-pound forward from Grant High School in Portland had his mind set on one school and made an early decision on Arizona during the summer. But now that he's officially back on the market again, Moser is open to all of his options - and this time around Oregon State is in the conversation for his future services.
"The tough part for them before is that I had just started hearing from them about a week before I committed to Arizona," Moser said. "But now I'm talking to them and Coach (Craig) Robinson is a great guy. He's talking about me coming in and playing early and being a big part of the team. He wants to develop me into a big-time guard which is intriguing to me, as I can guard multiple positions - even a point guard - which is what I like to do."
