Morales an unlikely star for Beavers
Spend too much time watching Jacquizz Rodgers or Terrelle Pryor shred opposing defenses and it's easy to forget that most college freshmen don't arrive on campus ready to dominate at the Division I level. In fact, most aren't even ready to step on the field.
As wide-eyed 17- and 18-year-olds, some freshmen need time to adjust to the speed of the college game. Some need to hit the weight room and bulk up. Some need to learn the ins and outs of amazingly complex offensive and defensive schemes.
