Patterson still considering State?

Four-star wide receiver Patrick Patterson was one of the biggest recruits Mississippi State landed over the summer.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder from Noxubee County (Miss.) gave the Bulldogs his pledge in mid-July only to decommitt two months later after their 3-2 loss to Auburn.

Patterson opened recruiting back up and is receiving interest from the likes of Southern Miss, Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss.

"The recruiting process is going pretty good right now," Patterson said. "I'm getting calls from Southern Miss, Ole Miss and Auburn every week. Bama, they call every other week. I feel like Ole Miss and Southern Miss are recruiting me the hardest."

So with three games left in the regular season, are the Bulldogs out of the mix for Patterson's signature?

Not just yet.
