DE Tallman recaps BC trip
Dorchester (Mass.) Boston College High defensive end Andrew Tallman has been out this season with an injury, but that hasn't stopped him from looking into what different schools have to offer. The 6-foot-5, 237-pound lineman will be working to get back into peak playing shape, but coaches already know he has a lot of potential.
Tallman ran the 40-yard dash in 4.75 seconds before he went down with an injury.
"Right now (coaches) aren't so interested because I've been out most of the year with a hip flexor injury. They really want to see me, though. They want me to get them some game film when I can.
"I'm doing pretty good now. I'm trying to get my way back up to the front of the lineup. The guys that came in for me are seniors and they've been doing their jobs very well. I just have to work really hard."
Tallman watched as the Eagles defeated rival Notre Dame and had plenty of nice things to say about BC.
"I loved the atmosphere. It was the fifth game that I've gone to this season. I love how even in a city with so many pro sports teams that are good BC still has a strong following of faithful fans.
"As far as how BC played, they did great. Chris Crane did a lot better in that game as opposed to some of his past performances. He is a great runner and I think BC should definitely utilize that more. Also, the play by the defense was excellent.
"BC is at the top of my list right now for favorites."
Tallman said he is also very interested in Iowa, and was glad to see the Hawkeyes take down Penn State.
