Hawkeyes set to host big DE

One of Kirk Ferentz and Ken O'Keefe's first coaching jobs was at Worcester Academy in Massachusetts, so it is only natural they would return there when the prep school produces a Division I prospect. That is exactly what Worcester has this year in defensive end Keensen Chambers, a 6-foot-6, 225-pound prospect originally from South Carolina.

Chambers' journey from Greensville, South Carolina, to Worcester Academy is an interesting one. While many high school players go to prep school to improve their academics, others do so to gain exposure. Chambers, who carried a 3.8 grade point average in high school, falls in the latter group, as he was a late bloomer on the football field, playing for the first time as a senior in high school.

Currently, Chambers has scholarship offers from Iowa, Tulane, Connecticut, and Temple. After Iowa, he plans to visit Tulane on December 5 and Connecticut on December 12.
