Inland Empire standout heating up

Perris (Calif.) Citrus Hill is one of the emerging programs out in the Inland Empire. Their success has been enviable. Citrus Hill head coach Dough Dubois and his program has already won a league championship before the school has graduated its first senior class.

One of the reasons is the outstanding play of senior linebacker/tight end Greg Smith (6-3, 237, 4.6) from Perris (Calif.) Citrus Hill. Smith earned all-league and second-team all-CIF as a junior.

On the recruiting trail, Smith has three offers on the table from UTEP, Fresno State and Washington State. This fast rising prospect has a pending offer from Oregon.

San Diego State, Utah, New Mexico and Oregon State are increasing their interest in Smith.
