Zac Stacy reflects on senior season
"That was a tough lost for us against Lincoln, Lincoln was a very talented. Both of us were evenly matched, but that game was based on speed, the faster team won and they were fast."
"As far as the season goes, I was so impressed with our guys. I mean for us to go that far in the season with only four seniors, thats really something special. Me breaking close to 2,500 on the ground and over 30 touchdowns wasn't me man, it was my young line. Our O-line consisted a bunch of sophmores and juniors, but was probably one of the best lines that has gone through Bibb. Like I said season wise, it was a very impressive season. We as a team accomplished a lot of things and us four seniors set a foundation for the upcoming years at Bibb. Head coach Mike Battles is what Bibb needed. We didn't exactly end up where we wanted to be, but as I've said before, this was a "setting-a-foundation" year and that's exactly what we did."
"I did watch the Kentucky game and I was at the Tennessee game. The Kentucky game was an explosive game for Vandy. I was really impressed with the way Chris Nickson played that night and it just goes to show that Vandy is comin up with playmakers each year. I hate to see Chris leave next year.
The Tennessee game was kind of frustrating. Vandy's offense just wasn't clicking the way it was the first couple plays. A couple breaks from the refs and Vandy wins it by a field goal. But in all, I had fun at the game. I talked to Warren [Norman] and got a chance to meet Blake [Southerland] also, so it was pretty neat.
"With Vandy being bowl eligible, it makes me even prouder for being a 'Dore."
