Bruins land OL

Help is on its way for UCLA as the Bruins have received a verbal commitment from a player who is currently on an official visit and plays a position of dire need.

The Bruins landed the services of offensive lineman Ryan Taylor (6-4, 295, 4.8) from Tyler Junior College.

How did the Bruins land a player from a Texas Junior College?

"Well actually (UCLA special teams) Coach [dFrank Gansz Jr. and my junior college coaches, (head coach) Coach (Danny) Palmer and (defensive back) Coach (Jermaine) Williams are good friends," Taylor said. "I just heard good things about Coach Rick Neuheisel."
