Woolridge off to hot start

When Royce Woolridge committed to Kansas back on May 1, 2008, not many Kansas fans knew what to expect. At the time, the 6-foot-3, 175-pound shooting guard from Sunnyslope High School in Phoenix, Ariz., was a complete unknown to Jayhawk fans. Woolridge hoped to make a big-time splash onto the national stage this past summer, but injuries prevented the four-star point guard from doing that. However, he has clearly established himself as one of the elite players in the class of 2010, due to his outstanding play this season.

For Woolridge, the No. 88 ranked player in the class of 2010, his return to the hardwood can't happen soon enough. Throughout the first 10 games of the regular season, there is simply no denying the fact that Woolridge has been one of the most impressive performers, regardless of class, this year.
